Differing primarily in barrel length and stock configuration, these gas piston operated, semi-auto rifles accept standard AR-15 magazines, with some models that store two spare, proprietary magazines in the stock. Configurable There are a few SU16 models and configurations to choose from to suit your needs, but all of them feature iron sights and an integrated Picatinny-style rail on top of the receiver to mount your favorite optic. Utility If you know anything about KelTec, you’ll know that we like to keep things light and simple. The SU16 is an excellent choice for your go-anywhere 5.56 rifle. Reliable All of the SU16 models are gas-piston operated which keeps fouling to a minimum where the magic happens.
